Class… Just Got Easier

What does CollegeNoteShare represent?

The goal of CollegeNoteShare when we started was to find a way to make college easier.  To do this we focused on why college is hard – we have to take countless exams, read tens of thousands of pages, and for a lot of us, work to pay our living expenses. 

How could we make college easier then?  Obviously we cannot give you money so that you don’t have to work, but we can try to make the time you spend studying a little bit more efficient by allowing you to view your peer’s study guide for the upcoming exam or test. 

We now had a way to make class easier, but we had a problem in this equation of ours.  We wanted other students to share their exam and test review sheets with us so that we could share them with those in need. 

How do we get the students who create the exam and test review sheets to share?  Well, we figured that one thing all students need is money, so we decided to set up a unique rewards system that gives students who contribute an opportunity to make money.  So we give them credits redeemable for rewards if they upload and then again if someone downloads their upload. 

OK, but how do we afford to pay people? Well, we figured that if these study guides really were good enough people would buy them.  So we did the research and found that people were willing to pay!  Alright, we now have a way to pay our contributors!

Voila, CollegeNoteShare is born and San Jose State University’s College of Business is first to take the plunge.  So check us out, give it a try, and be understanding. We are just 3 guys who are trying to help, it’s not perfect, but it will be good with a little help from all of you!
